34th Annual Steam Threshing Festival in Forest City, IA

LOCATED: On the south edge of Forest City, Iowa at the intersection of Hwy 69 and B14.
ACTIVITIES: Plowing, Threshing, Corn Husking and Shelling; Ensilage Cutting, Clover Hulling, Baling, Log Sawing and Lumber Milling, Shingle Making, Blacksmithing, Baker Fans, Prony Brakes, among others. 40 buildings on the grounds, including farm museums, log cabins, fire house, church, jail, train and transportation museums.
STEAM EXHIBIT: 36 hp Rumely steam engines, 40 hp Gaar Scott, 25 hp Illinois, additional Rumely, Advance, and Advance-Rumely steam engines, and other large steam engines, including 110 hp Case, 35 hp Nichols and Shepard, and 35 hp Buffalo Pitts
PRAIRIE TRACTORS: Full line of Rumely Heavyweight, Lightweight, and Superpowered OilPulls, along with the full line of Aultman and Taylor tractors; other brands including Flour City, MTM, Twin City, Avery, Hart Parr, Case, Fairbanks Morse, Emerson Brantingham, Nichols & Shepard, and others.
